Where the Path for freedom continues
Our Legacy
It started with a vacant lot. It became a movement when 200+ community members decided to reclaim it.
Discover how we transformed 190 Blue Hill Ave into the Harriet Tubman Freedom Park.

our future, together
Help us design a calendar that honors our past and builds a liberated future.
The Harriet Tubman Freedom Park is a public space, it belongs to the people! You never need permission to host a casual hangout, a mindfulness walk, or a small family gathering.
However, if you are planning a public event, a workshop, or want to collaborate with our community coordinators for resources and amplification, we want to build with you!
MASS LIBERATION
Mass Liberation is an incorporated non-profit organization in Massachusetts.
Its purpose is to create and fund cultural, educational, and organizing hubs, including the Harriet Tubman Freedom Park. Through these initiatives, it aims to create space for families and multi-generational neighborhoods in the Boston area to come together across historic lines of division. It seeks to build community and share art and culture, especially in oppressed, underrepresented, and overlooked neighborhoods.
It is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
